Jaguar: Only Two Cars Standing

by | Jan 31, 2023 | Car Dealership

Jaguar in Philadelphia has come out with a sterling lineup for 2023. A few trims have vanished from the lineup. While the company continues to produce quality SUVs such as the F-Pace and the E-Pace remain, the focus is shifting to electric vehicles. This is in line with other car manufacturers, both luxury and mainstream.

Two Cars Standing

Among the SUVs and electric vehicles are two lone cars. These are the XF and the F-Type.

The 2023 F-Type

This sports beautifully designed coupe and convertible is available for 2023 with many of its 2022 features intact, including a 444 hp, supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine. This car is made for driving around the curvy stretches of roads near Butte, Montana and the curviest streets you can find in Philadelphia, PA.

For 2023, the F-type also retains the choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. Gone, however, is the R-Dynamic model.

The 2023 Jaguar XF

The XF is a mid-size sedan. Its engine is the same for some models as that installed in the F-Pace – a 2.0-liter turbo-4. Alternatively, there is the P300 R-Dynamic. It produces 296 hp and comes with AWD. The ride is smooth and luxurious, and the high-quality interior design, produces what is an affordable luxury vehicle.

Whither the Cars?

With the move towards complete electrification, the question remains whether these two cars will continue to be produced. Can the rumbling Jaguar F-Type sports car be transmuted into a quiet beast? Is electrifying compatible with the XF luxury sedan and coupe? Only time will tell.
