The Jaguar XF in Philadelphia rolled off the production line in 2008. A replacement for the S-Type, it was an immediate success. Its admirers saw it as a fast, stylish, revolutionary sedan.
2008 Jaguar XF
The 2008 XF was a departure for Jaguar. This and the Jaguar XL were revolutionary steps for the company. Until then, the image was stodgy. The designs had not kept up with the changing times. The cars were still gorgeous to look at and admired for their capabilities. Yet, they no longer had the same appeal.
The 2008 XF was to change all that. The sedan was sleek, almost sexy. It was more youthful than anything Jaguar had produced to date. Yet, its cabins remained sumptuous and extremely comfortable. The engines were still a force to be reckoned with. They were strong and powerful.
2011 Jaguar XF
Three years later, the company continued to remain on track. The contemporary look remained. The XF was stylish. However, the base 4.2-liter V8 engine was replaced by a more powerful engine. This was the 5.0-liter V8 engine, previously only available as standard with the next trim.
To ensure the more powerful vehicle could handle the extra horsepower, it also received bigger front brakes and the Jaguar Drive Control Dynamic mode. All trims also received a heated windshield. Other optional packages added to the speed and control of the XF.
Both the 2008 and the 2011 XF are affordable options in Philadelphia. They are not only refined, powerful vehicles but are also reliable, used Jaguars. For more updates follow Jaguar Cherry Hill On instagram
